Morning we're slowly packing, drying our things and making finally big breakfast. Our winning combination was a potato puré with gulash instant soup - delicious (at least on that time). Both rivers we crossed easely. We deided to make relax on a bank of the Rio Tek.

We let Feliciano to go back to his six children. He received a nice tip with pencils and baloons for children (a very good gift for children, not sweets to ruin teeth). Close to our rest place are blossoming some strelicias(?).

We are slowly walking back to Paratepuí village. It is hot like a hell and puri-puri flies are attacking... We met a group of Americans and Germans, each of them with one leg up to knee covered by mud. How they made it? On 5 p.m., quite exhausted, we're in Paratepuí. Local pub is consisting of one empty room with fridge, one table, trash bin full of empty beer cans and a few boozy indians. No jeep available and we dont feel like to continue. Locals (apart from dogs) are keeping a very interesting house pets as parrot or tucan bird(?)

Heavy ain started and we erected our tent under the roof on a terasse in the middle of the village. A few minutes later wet and dog-tired Laura with guide came to us. They went from Roraima top to Paratepuí in one day !! Meeting old friends is a nice opportunity to talk and drik a beer (450B)....
Next day morning we went by foot to San Francisco. After one hour of march we took a free lift to San Francisco. On noon we jumped into direct bus to Valencia (what a luck!) for 20000B/per and moved to Venezuelan Ands.
