We started from camp early morning with sunrise. Early start (6 a.m.) every day was really useful. It is cold and light for photography is the best. After few metres from camp we had a great overcolored view of Zagora and surrounding palm trees.

After one hour we left palmerie and whole day drove through desert. Scenery is fabulous, really different than in Central Europe. But I wouldnt live there for a whole life ...

We passed small villages and feeling taste of Sahara. It is not known that Sahara is from bigger part a stone desert and not sandy. Afternoon we went to Rissani.

Immediatelly hustlers are striking. It is hard to rid of them. They warned that we become lost and stuck on sand. Both was partly true but we handle it by ourselves. 30 km´s drive by pista road was exciting and huge Merzuga sand dunes loomed on horizont. Desert storm is approaching.

On last minute we hide ourselves into a small hotel. Strong wind blows. Sand is everywhere. It´s raining .. on desert! We were lucky, rain is once a year there. We took raincoats and started to walk through dunes.

On evening sky becomes clear and sunset was great. I climbed on the top of the highest dune and watched lights and shadows. It was something new for me.

Whole time I was alone but after half hour kind from closer village came and jumped from dunes.

Alone palm tree was a good object for a nice photo.

Evening in hotel was pleasant. Locals gathered in hall and song and played on drums. We drink oversweeten mentha tea and listen music.
