After Rabacal we're making stop at Encumeada pass and with Petra (Vlada again relaxing at the car) we're going to explore another Levada do Norte.
There is a lot of blossoming flowers beside levada and I am making a lot of "postcard" photos.
The ridge where we've been two days ago is clearly visible.
Lizards are sunbathing on the warm levada concrete.
After cca 3km there is levada junction. Straigth on Levada das Rabacas (with 1 hour crossing tunnel!). Right on tunnel Levada do Norte.
The tunnel was realy nasty. Narrow path, low headroom. But it was worth. Real jungle starts with a lot of ferns and other tunnels ... .
We're continuing cca 30 minutes to waterfall and than going back. It's quite late. Pity, I would exchange this more adventurous and rough levada for Rabacal. There is even possibility to make 18km circle back via Lavada da Serra.
